Orlando Maps are an Excellent Starting Point for Planning Disney Vacations

When planning a trip to Disney my starting point is always some good Orlando maps. And now with online services from sites like Google and Yahoo this phase of planning couldn't be any easier.

I like to start with the big picture first, especially if I am planning on driving to Disney World. Outlining my route and any stops along the way makes the long drive a bit more bearable.

Then I zero in on Lake Buena Vista itself (where the bulk of Disney World is actually located). If I am flying in, then the directions from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to the Disney Hotels is of particular interest.

Organization is Key

The information gathering that is required with travel all starts here.. By the time my planning is done - I have a lot of stuff! Keeping it organized from the beginning makes the trip a lot more fun for me.

To organize my research on my computer, I set up two bookmark folders in my browser:

• Disney Vacations
• Maps - which is located inside the main folder

In the subfolder, I store links to all my favorite and most useful charts.

Offline, I create a real folder for all of my trip information. In here I keep printouts of my driving directions, and guides to the Disney Resorts and theme parks that I plan on visiting.
