Awesome Disney Vacations Depend on Good
Disney Travel Arrangements

As they say - getting there is half the battle. And Disney travel is no exception. If I plan my trip well, then everything gets off to a happy start.

On the other hand, a disorganized voyage creates stress and anxiety. A really bad way to start off what is supposed to be a fun vacation!

Getting to Disney World has two major parts:

  • The journey to Orlando from home, and
  • The ride from Orlando International Airport, the Greyhound bus terminal, or the train station to Walt Disney World.

Most people arrive in Orlando one of four ways - by air, bus, train, or car. Each method has it's own pros and cons.

Since I live in the Northeastern United States, my preference is to hop a flight. Flying time is short and if I time my flights well, then I can even squeeze in a few hours at a Disney theme park on my day of arrival.

It sounds easy enough, doesn't it?

A Little Info to Get You Started

If you are flying into Orlando International Airport - then review a map of the facility before you get there. It's a big place, and it's actually a hotel too.

If you decide to pass on the Disney Magical Express and opt for an Orlando car rental - then take a look at the listings in our Orlando Attractions directory.

Timing Your Visit

But there are other things to consider as well. I usually want to find cheap Disney vacations - so timing is everything. I have outlined the best times to travel to Disney World. This is good to keep in mind when making travel arrangements.
