Why Choose Disney Hotels?

Disney hotels may be convenient, but for the budget conscious - are they really a good a choice? Are they a sensible choice?

When it comes to Disney vacations I know that many people don't even consider staying on property. The first time I visited central Florida as an adult, that was my frame of mind. With so many cheap Orlando hotels, why shell out more to the Mouse?

But what I learned is that sometimes convenience trumps cost.
